17 projects over 15 years, 12 of them before ChatGPT. I learned to build software the slow way: reading the documentation, getting it wrong and trying again until it worked.

Mathematics and computer science in C++, ending with an anti-cheating app that kept students inside their exam.

Two summers in the USA
Two summers working in the United States, far from home: a yacht club in Montauk, New York, and a hotel in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Programming a Mitutoyo coordinate measuring machine to check plastic parts to a hundredth of a millimetre.

Second place at an international conference, with a research paper on how good leadership raises the performance of workers.

From assembling and testing car instrument clusters on the shop floor to running my own project as assistant project manager.
Bayer Digital Campus
A machine learning model that predicts whether a skin product will cause a rash, built for Bayer’s Digital Campus Challenge.

Siemens S7 PLC programs for three automation projects running at once, and support that fixed most client issues within a day.

Kamstrup
Decision sessions with production leadership, a real-time OEE view where a daily figure was asked for, and an algorithm that plans production layouts.

Fallen Space
My master’s thesis: a space game about leaving an Earth made uninhabitable by climate change, reworked after play-tests and interviews.
ChatGPT is released
Everything above was learned and built without an AI assistant writing the code.

Web apps across process, production and maintenance, including barcode-based maintenance tracking that cut manual data entry by 40%.

More than ten language models, from ChatGPT and Gemini to Llama, Mistral and Qwen, tested side by side on the same tasks, locally and in the cloud.
Media Suite
Sorts photos and videos, checks backups for missing or corrupted files, and shrinks files in one click.

Aule Writer
AI writing help for the classroom, with no student data leaving the school’s own machines. Piloted in a school in Romania.
BikeNorth
One system runs the whole company: online booking, QR-code bike handovers, and an AI model that reads agency booking emails while staff stay in control.
