Digitalizing aerospace manufacturing

Duqueine Group · Timișoara, Romania · 2023–2024

Duqueine makes high-precision aerospace components from advanced composite materials. As process engineer for digitalization, I replaced manual, paper-based processes with web applications across the process, production and maintenance departments, in an industry with strict compliance standards.

In numbers

What I built

Scan a machine, log the job, and watch the report update.

From paper to a scan

Before, a technician finished a job, filled in a paper form, and someone typed it into a spreadsheet days later. The report on what was overdue was only as current as the last person who had time to type.

Now every machine carries a barcode. The technician scans it, picks the task and the result, and saves. The record exists the moment the work is done, with who, what and when, which is exactly what an aerospace audit asks for.

Machine, scan, form, report: the new maintenance flow

Three taps instead of a form and a typing session.

Beyond the software

I trained and supported more than 50 end users, and coordinated milestones and stakeholder communication throughout. Alongside the digital work, I designed composite components in CAD, modelling and simulating parts to speed up prototyping.
